From an informal operation to a system the people on the floor could run.
Work was moving through many hands with no shared process and no architecture that could scale. We mapped the end goal with the operators, specified services instead of a monolith, and built it together.
Architecture
Identity, operations, a decision service, a gateway. Bounded services — built to scale, not a monolith.
Operating model
Roles as templates. Permissions the API enforces. A product surface for each kind of work.
The domain was incidental. The method is the product.
